Current free-service disclosure

Privacy policy

This page explains how OmniTools CV processes data in the current free release. No paid subscription or paid AI service is active.

Data we process

We process account details, saved resume and portfolio content, and job descriptions users choose to analyze. Resume PDF or DOCX imports are uploaded temporarily to private storage for text extraction, with a 5MB limit. Portfolio PDF documents are stored privately up to 20MB and shared through short-lived links when a portfolio is viewed.

Purpose of processing

We use data to authenticate users, save and update resumes, run guidance-based keyword and skill analysis, create PDFs, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell resume content or use it to train an AI model.

Local processing and external services

The current ATS check is rule-based and does not send text to a paid AI provider. Word files are created in the user's browser and are not uploaded during export. Account data, resumes, and temporary imports are stored through Supabase.

Advertising and consent

Google AdSense may load after the required consent and only outside the resume document, PDF, and print output. Resume content, ATS analysis, name, email, phone, and job-description text are not sent to the ad provider.

Product usage measurement

We record a limited set of operational events such as opening a public page, using a tool, or indicating download intent, together with random browser and session identifiers. Events never include CV content, names, email addresses, phone numbers, file names, file contents, OCR text, or job-description text. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected.

Optional feedback

You may send optional feedback about a problem, improvement, or suggestion. We do not ask for your name, email address, or files, and you should not include personal information or CV content. We use feedback to improve the product and apply abuse-prevention limits.

Retention and deletion

Resumes, portfolios, images, and private portfolio documents remain stored until the user deletes or replaces them. Temporary resume imports are cleaned after 24 hours. Permanent account deletion also removes related resumes, analyses, imports, portfolio images, and portfolio documents.

User rights and contact

Users can access, edit, and download their resumes and delete their account from Account settings. A separate legal contact channel and publishable business details have not yet been approved and must be added before any commercial launch or payment collection.
